Questions we’re often asked about WordPress Support & Maintenance
Not at all. It does make it easier, and generally quicker if it is, but it’s not a requirement of using our support service.
We certainly do. If you’ve lost contact with your agency, or you’d like to move away, we can take on an existing site as long as it’s using WordPress.
Delicious Media’s operating hours are 08:30 – 18:00, Monday to Friday. Our automated monitoring systems run 24/7, so depending on your requirements we can provide a response outside business hours too.
This depends on your requirements, but because we pro-actively monitor sites, during business hours our team have usually been alerted and triaged a problem before the client has noticed a problem, but in any event you can expect a response within the hour.
We check the availability of all sites we support using a 3rd party monitoring system. For e-commerce/transactional sites or where there is additional functionality we can also setup custom monitoring.
For example, for e-commerce sites we might monitor for failed transactions and to pick up problems with a payment processor.
Yes, unless you ask us to do so otherwise we’ll always apply updates outside usual business hours.
